Welcome Sylvie August to the KCI Team!
Here is a brief introduction from Sylvie:
I grew up in Villanova, Pa., and graduated from Penn State University. I recently moved to the South Side of Pittsburgh and am excited to begin my journey as a Communications Associate at Krakoff Communications and in my new home in Pittsburgh!
As a little girl, I had a crew of lively imaginary friends, the original protagonists of my first stories. By the time I finished elementary school, I identified myself as a reader and writer. I loved reading any story, but I adored fiction the most because my favorite fiction stories taught me that words can take you anywhere.
My passion for storytelling attracted me to pursue a degree in Journalism. Throughout my time at Penn State, I delved into the industries of film production, marketing, social media and editorial writing through internships, learning how to tell stories in any medium, whether it be an Instagram Reel, television script, magazine article or short story. I not only love storytelling but also listening and learning from the stories of others.
I look forward to hearing our clients’ stories and helping deliver them to their desired audiences through strategic communications. Whether you are an industry professional, client or friend, I hope to learn the stories that create the world around me here in Pittsburgh and beyond.
