Welcome Courtney Page to the KCI Team!

See below for a brief introduction from Courtney:
My PR Journey:
I grew up on the outskirts of Allentown in the small town of New Tripoli, PA. After high school, I fell in love with Slippery Rock University and followed in my parents’ footsteps there to pursue my long-time dream of playing collegiate field hockey. Before my junior year, my younger sister joined me there, making SRU feel even more like home. While at school, I somehow stumbled into communication and quickly found a passion for it the more I learned about it. Having been an avid reader and writer my whole life, it ended up being the perfect fit for me.
In college, I was heavily involved in our chapter of PRSSA, and once I attended my first conference in Pittsburgh I was hooked. Prior to my senior year, I interned for an agency in the city and quickly found my passion for agency life and the ability to work with multiple different clients in a variety of sectors.
As I neared the end of my collegiate career, I started working remotely at my first agency, based out of New York City, where I was able to put all of my schooling to good use. At that job, I learned more about the public relations industry which created a strong foundation for the rest of my career. I then worked remotely for another agency based in Dallas and was able to leverage the competitive drive I developed in athletics, steering it toward securing media opportunities for clients.
After a few years away, my fiancé and I returned to Pittsburgh. I’m excited to work with the rest of the team at Krakoff Communications, where I know that my role as a Communications Associate will be a perfect fit. I’m looking forward to leveraging my previous agency experience to help exceed our clients’ expectations. Furthermore, I look forward to growing my skills professionally as a communicator on our dynamic and creative team.
More About Me:
When I’m not at the office, I most enjoy coaching youth field hockey, lifting, yoga, walking my corgis, reading and exploring all the things to do in Pittsburgh. I actively stay up to date with the latest influencers and their recommendations on coffee, food and fun activities all while enjoying the local sports teams. As I am somewhat new to the area, I’m excited to develop some ‘yinzer’ roots!
